State Senator Brad Hoylman presents this town hall to discuss hate, the "alt-right" and white nationalism.

CHELSEA, NY — New Yorkers are invited to attend a community town hall on hate, the "alt-right" and white nationalism presented by State Senator Brad Hoylman at SVA Theatre Sunday evening.
The town hall will kick off with the 45-minute screening of the documentary "Hate in America: Stories From the Files of the Southern Poverty Law Center."
The provocative film investigates the complex roots of hate crimes in the United States and shows Emmy-award winning journalist Tony Harris traveling the country to investigate three different hate crimes – a race-fueled murder in Jackson, Mississippi, a massacre in Oak Creek, Wisconsin and a brutal attack on the streets of New York City.
