Two Men Rob Chelsea Parking Garage At Gunpoint: NYPD

Police are searching for two men that robbed Madison Square Parking Corp.

CHELSEA, NY — Police are searching for two unidentified men who robbed a Chelsea parking garage at gunpoint.

It was reported to police that on the evening of Jan. 18, two men approached the 57-year-old male employee at Madison Square Parking Corp at 359 9th Ave.

One of the suspects pulled a gun out, pointed it at the employee and told him to get inside of the parking garage booth. The second suspect pushed the employee inside, police said.

The suspects removed a set of keys to a lock box in the booth and fled on foot, police told Patch.

Police describe the suspect armed with a gun as a black male approximately 30-40 years old. He weighs about 150 to 180 pounds and was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt black hat and white sneakers.

The second suspect is described by police as a black male about 35-45 years old and weighing about 170 to 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red windbreaker, black hat and glasses.

The employee was not injured as a result of this incident, police said. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
