• Man arrested on drug charges in Ghent (newportdispatch.com) — A Ghent drug investigation has led to felony charges now being handled in Town of Claverack Court, where a 28-year-old man was arraigned and ordered to return in mid-October. Deputies say they seized large quantities of suspected methamphetamine, cocaine, counterfeit pills, cash, and illegal high-capacity ammunition devices during a September search involving multiple sheriff's units.
