To help protect locals, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office is holding a scam-prevention session at the Clifton Park Elks Lodge on June 30, offering practical tips so Clifton Park residents can better spot and avoid similar schemes. 
• Police chase car through Saratoga, Schenectady counties (dailygazette.com) — A multi-agency police chase Tuesday afternoon sped through Clifton Park after a vehicle fled a traffic stop on the Northway in Malta, eventually ending on the Thruway near Glenville. Two people wanted on multiple felony warrants were arrested, and authorities say the investigation continues but there’s no ongoing threat to the public.
