• CCS Board Hears Support To Keep Coach (watervilletimes.com) — Clinton Central School District voters have approved the 2026–27 budget, a 2.85% tax levy increase, added funding for baseball and softball field work, and support for the Kirkland Town Library. At a recent board meeting, residents also met school board candidates and heard updates on student achievements, including strong showings in visual arts and the Envirothon competition. 
• Meteor Explosion Caught on Camera in Rome (wktv.com) — From Clinton, a Hamilton College physics professor is explaining the dramatic meteor explosion that streaked over Rome and sent sonic booms across New England. Using Peters Observatory, he and his students also help NASA hunt exoplanets, giving local students hands-on roles in national space research.
• 6 Local Arts Organizations Get State Support for Repairs (wktv.com) — Kirkland Art Center in Clinton is receiving $53,823 in state arts funding for new equipment, including a water softening system and electric and raku kilns. The grant is part of a broader New York State Council on the Arts capital program supporting several arts venues across Oneida and neighboring counties with repairs and upgrades.
