• Shooting Plan Averted At CCS (watervilletimes.com) — Clinton Central School District leaders and Oneida County law enforcement recently thwarted a threatened shooting at Clinton Middle School, prompting the superintendent to cancel classes for a day of recovery. A community forum at the CCS Performing Arts Theater is set for Wednesday, April 22 at 7 p.m. to share information, answer questions, and help residents process what happened together. 
• Sheriff Hears Concerns About Town Accidents (watervilletimes.com) — Bridgewater’s Town Board recently met with Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol to discuss speeding, serious crashes, and policing needs, using the Village of Clinton’s contract with the Sheriff’s Office as a possible model. The meeting also covered BMX track improvements, a lease extension for a major race weekend, and local water and dog control updates that may interest nearby Clinton-area residents.
