• Eleven displaced in Putnam trailer park fire (midhudsonnews.com) — A fire at the Cold Spring Mobile Home Park in North Highlands destroyed one trailer, left another uninhabitable, and damaged a third, displacing 11 residents. Local firefighters and 13 neighboring departments battled the blaze, while Red Cross volunteers are providing emergency aid, supplies, and ongoing support as families begin to recover. 
• Former Stonecrop Employee Pleads Guilty (highlandscurrent.org) — A former Stonecrop Gardens employee has pleaded guilty to federal child pornography charges after secretly recording girls and women in a public restroom at the Philipstown attraction. Arrested in 2024 and briefly fleeing before a May hearing, he now faces sentencing in February and will forfeit multiple hidden cameras and electronic devices.
