• New Ranking Of Long Island's Top 15 Public High Schools Released By U.S. News (patch.com) — Commack families can celebrate that Commack High School ranks 12th in New York and 1,083rd nationally in U.S. News & World Report's new Best High Schools list. The report compares thousands of schools using test performance, graduation rates, and college readiness, with several other Long Island schools also placing highly in the state rankings.
   

• Duo Go Shoplifting at Commack Business; Suffolk Police Conducting Investigation into Incident (longisland.com) — Police are asking Commack residents for help identifying two women who allegedly stole about $670 in clothing from the Burlington store on Veterans Memorial Highway last month. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for tips that lead to an arrest, and residents can submit information anonymously by phone, app, or online.
