• Police Seek Public's Help Identifying Walmart Shoplifting Suspect in Commack (longisland.com) — Police are asking Commack residents to help identify a man accused of stealing about $345 in merchandise from the Walmart on Crooked Hill Road on Sept. 12. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward and taking anonymous tips by phone, app, or online, so locals who may recognize the suspect can safely share information.
   

• NYSSWA 2026 girls soccer weekly rankings (newyorksportswriters.org) — Commack's girls varsity soccer team is ranked 13th statewide in Class AAA in the latest New York Sportswriters Association poll through Sept. 19.
