Photos: Cactus Salon's Free Night of Beauty

Cactus Salon hosted their third annual night of  beauty makeovers for the Family Service League clients at their Dix Hills location on Monday night. 

Clients were nominated by the league's program directors and were treated to a night of beauty – from head to toe – by 50 of Cactus' stylists. The stylists volunteer their time, and some bring their families to volunteer, to help these clients feel pampered, Karen Vito, marketing director, said. 

Joe Secreti, owner, said the services rendered would cost over $10,000 and also said that Cactus, as a company, donates additional funds throughout the year as well as volunteers for the league's programs. 

Family Service League Division Director, Lori Anne Brennan said 70 percent of the clients that participate in this program end up having higher self-esteem and ultimately a greater chance succeeding in their job interviews.
