We Hold These Truths: How Abrahamic Values Help Shape Our Democracy
Join us for an engaging conversation and celebration of America’s 250th anniversary as faith leaders from Jewish, Christian, and Muslim communities come together to explore the values that have helped shape our democracy.
This thought-provoking panel discussion will examine the role of Abrahamic values throughout American history and consider how these values intersect with, complement, and at times challenge our nation's ideals. Panelists will share their unique perspectives on faith, civic responsibility, and the enduring principles that continue to influence American society.
Featured panelists include Rabbi Lina Zebbarini of Kehillath Shalom Synagogue and member of the Suffolk County Human Rights Commission, Rev. Kate Jones Calone, Executive Presbyter of the Presbytery of Long Island, and Dr. Mustafa Elsahamy of the Suffolk County Muslim Advisory Board and Majid Darul Quran in Bay Shore.
The program will take place on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The evening will also include music and light refreshments.
