Are you a rising sophomore, junior, or senior looking to make a difference in your community while building valuable leadership skills? The Suffolk Y JCC's Teen Leadership Training Program offers high school students the opportunity to work with a diverse group of socially conscious peers and create meaningful connections with older adults through engaging intergenerational programming.
Participants will gain hands-on leadership experience while helping to facilitate discussion groups, creative arts activities, technology assistance, and other enriching programs. This unique experience is a great way to develop communication and teamwork skills, build your resume, and earn more than 100 community service hours over the course of the summer.
The program runs Monday, July 27 through Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM at the Suffolk Y JCC in Commack.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but space is limited and early application is encouraged.
