Young performers in grades 5 through 10 are invited to explore the world of musical theater dance at the Suffolk Y JCC’s new Musical Theater Dance Workshop.
Led by instructor Ashley Curtis, this 12-session program gives students the opportunity to develop their dance skills while working on two full-length dance numbers directly from a Broadway musical. In a creative and supportive environment, participants will focus on expressive dancing and bring their performances to life.
The session will culminate in a showcase where students will perform their finalized dance pieces for family, friends, and the community.
