The Suffolk Y JCC invites the community to a special screening of The Response, a documentary exploring the personal stories and efforts of ordinary Americans advocating for the release of hostages held in Gaza.
Directed by Michael Jolls, The Response examines how individuals across the United States have responded to the hostage crisis, highlighting the voices, experiences, and advocacy efforts of people working to bring attention to those being held captive. The film offers audiences an opportunity to learn more about the human stories behind the hostage crisis and the people who have made it their mission to advocate for their release.
The film will be presented at the Suffolk Y JCC on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. The screening will take place at the JCC, located at 74 Hauppauge Road in Commack.
