Commack Carvel Robbed at Knifepoint

COMMACK, NY - A man armed with a knife robbed a Carvel in Commack Tuesday night, police said.

According to Suffolk Police, the man entered the ice cream shop located at 110 Commack Road at about 9 p.m. and demanded money from a cashier. The cashier complied and the robber fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. Police did not release any further details, but they are investigating whether the robbery is connected to a spree of 11 robberies in Nassau County.
