WATCH: Police Release More Footage of Nassau County Serial Robber

Surveillance footage was taken minutes after the knife-wielding robber struck a New Hyde Park Subway shop Monday morning.

Authorities believe the man who robbed a New Hyde Park Subway shop at knifepoint Monday is the same person who committed several Nassau County commercial robberies over the past two months, police say.

According to authorities, the man entered Subway, located at 1201 Jericho Turnpike, displayed a large kitchen knife and demanded money from the 20-year-old female employee at 9:48 a.m.

Police say the woman complied and the robber fled on foot, northbound on N. 12th Street, with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No injuries were reported.

Police described the man as black, 6-feet tall, and wearing a dark-colored hooded shirt, blue jeans, tan work boots, dark gloves, dark sunglasses and a dark cloth across his face.

The man is suspected to be connected to a total of 10 robberies across Nassau County in March and April:

According to authorities, the man typically enters these stores, produces a large knife, demands cash and flees on foot. The man has been known to wait inside the business until there are no customers present before he commits the robbery, police say. Additional surveillance footage of the robber can be found here.
