Commack Library Renovations on Schedule

The Smithtown Library Commack branch is currently under construction, but on schedule with plans to be open for the end of 2010, Robert Lusak, Director of the Smithtown Library, said.

Lusak said residents are utilizing the other Smithtown Special Library District locations and that students will have no problem accessing materials this fall.

The renovation is part of a project throughout the Smithtown Special Library District to make all the facilities energy-efficient, featuring state-of-the-art equipment and additional collections.
