Commack School Budget Passes Easily, Behar Elected to School Board
Voters have decided on a proposed 2015-16 budget.

Commack residents approved the school district’s $185.12 million proposed budget on Tuesday by a margin of 1,927-525.
The budget represents a 1.03 percent spending increase over the current year and it includes a 0.95 percent hike in the school tax levy, within the district’s state tax cap.
Jarrett Behar defeated William Marchesi by a margin of 1,698-642 to win the seat on the school board being vacated by Deborah Guber, who did not run for re-election.
