Fundraisers Started To Help Family Of Fallen Commack Firefighter
Christopher Raguso was among the 7 people killed in a helicopter crash in Iraq last week. He leaves behind a wife and two young daughters.

COMMACK, NY - Two online fundraisers were started to help the family of a Commack Fire Department member and a New York Air National Guard flight engineer who died in a helicopter crash in Iraq last week.
On Thursday, 37-year-old Christopher Raguso was among the 7 people killed after a HH-60 Pave Hawk struck a power line.

Raguso served as a lieutenant in Commack Fire Department's Company 4 as well as for the FDNY.
A campaign was started on GoFundMe to help raise $50,000 for his family, which included his wife and his two young daughters.

"Chris was always there to help anyone with anything, he would never say no," the page reads. "Our hearts break for these two little girls who will have to grow up without their Daddy."
As of Monday morning, the page has raised a total of $27,101.
In addition, the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation pledged $100,000 on behalf of Raguso and will use all additional proceeds to help pay off the remainder of his family's mortgage.
