Local Bride Says Yes to Kleinfeld's Dress
Michelle Perrotta- Lynch appeared on TLC's Say Yes to the Dress after a spur of the moment decision to buy a Kleinfeld Bridal's dress.
Michelle Perrotta-Lynch, a Commack native, wasn't interested in the big dress, until she saw "the dress" at Kleinfeld's Bridal in Manhattan. Her decision to view a dress at Kleinfeld's got her featured on TLC's Say Yes to the Dress, because of her "big, loud Italian family," she said.
"We decided to go, the whole family. I didn't apply for the show, even though I know some people did. They saw me with my family and picked us to be on the show, it was really cool," Perrotta-Lynch said.
Perrotta-Lynch said she was interested in the ring, but the dress didn't really seem like a big deal. She began watching the show and became more and more interested. She said it seemed like it would be fun to try on dresses at the store, and its central location allowed her whole family to be present for the fitting – as her sister works in Manhattan.

The dress she picked out – and wore at her wedding on May 22 – had a big, ball gown bottom and lace on the bodice and train. Perrotta-Lynch moved to N.J. after her wedding, because her husband Ryan is from Penn., but always wanted to get back to Commack.
"I loved growing up in Commack, I'm not a NYC kind of girl. I enjoyed the district and always wanted to be near my family. We moved to Smithtown a few months ago, so we're close now," she said.
