Man Robs Commack Bank With Box Cutter: Police
The robbery occurred on Monday afternoon.
COMMACK, NY - A Hauppauge man was arrested after robbing a Commack bank with a box cutter on Wednesday afternoon, according to Suffolk Police.
A man entered Bank of America on 41 Veterans Memorial Highway, at 1:50 p.m., displayed a box cutter and demanded money.
The teller complied with the suspect’s demands and gave him cash from the drawer.

The robber then fled the bank.
Officers located and arrested the suspect, 53-year-old James Jordan, a short time later, police said.

He was charged with first degree robbery, police said.
