Come to The Smithtown Library Main Building on Saturday, July 27 10:00am-1:00pm to join us as we em-“bark” with this new program. We will have face painting and crafts for the children. Visitors (both two-legged and four-legged) from the Guide Dog Foundation, the Smithtown Animal Shelter and the North Shore Animal League Mobile Unit will also be joining us!
Mutt-i-grees in the Library is an initiative that includes programs, books, arts and crafts and other activities about dogs. It is part of a national effort that highlights the unique characteristics and desirability of shelter dogs, or “Mutt-i-grees” to teach essential social and emotional skills.
