COMMACK, NY - One person was hospitalized after a car crash in Commack on Monday afternoon.
The Commack Fire Department and Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps received a call for a reported heavy rescue on Indian Head Road near Somers Lane at about 1:45 p.m.
Units arrived to find a two car collision with one car pinned under a pole.

One person was transported via Commack Volunteer Ambulance to a near by hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
