Police: Commack Man With Gun Robs Dunkin' Donuts

Nicholas Mariconti was arrested shortly after robbery last Friday morning.

A 25-year-old Commack man was arrested soon after he robbed a Dunkin’ Donuts last Friday, police said.

According to police, Nicholas Mariconti entered the Dunkin’ Donuts, located at 115 Veterans Memorial Highway, armed with a handgun at 1:27 a.m. He displayed the weapon and demanded cash from an employee, police said.

Mariconti fled with cash from the register, police said. No one was injured during the robbery.

Mariconti was arrested a couple of hours later and charged with second degree robbery. He was arraigned in First District Court in Central Islip on Saturday and is currently being held on $40,000 cash bail or $120,000 bond.
