Police: Drunk Islip Woman Crashed With Kids in Car
Single-car crash occurred on the Sagtikos State Parkway in Commack Monday night.

An Islip woman faces DWI and child endangerment charges after she crashed her car with four children inside Monday night, State Police said.
Accoridng to police, 37-year-old Jessica Crimi crashed her 2005 Kia on the northbound Sagtikos State Parkway, north of the Long Island Expressway, in Commack shortly after 9 p.m.
When troopers arrived on the scene, Crimi displayed obvious signs of intoxication and failed sobriety tests, police said.

There were four children under the age of 16–including two of Crimi’s own children–in the car at the time of the crash, police said. No injuries were reported.
Crimi was arrested and charged with aggravated DWI–a felony under Leandra’s Law–four counts of endangering the welfare of a child and traffic violations. She was held in police custody overnight and was scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Central Islip on Tuesday.
