Police: Gunman Robs Deer Park Gas Station Christmas Eve

A man armed with a gun robbed a Deer Park gas station on Christmas Eve, police said.

The incident occurred at the Extra gas station located at 1786 Deer Park Avenue, at the corner of Grand Boulevard, at 6 p.m., police said.

An employee gave the man cash, who then fled, police said. No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.

There have been six gas station robberies in the area–five in Deer Park and one in North Babylon–over the past month. On Monday, a mile away from the Extra station, two men armed with guns robbed a Sunoco station on Deer Park Avenue.
