Suffolk Police Seek Man Who Used Stolen Credit Card

Do you recognize him? Reward offered for info leading to an arrest.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who used a stolen credit card in Commack.

On March 5, a credit card was stolen out of a vehicle parked in front of LA Fitness, located at 68 Veterans Memorial Highway, at about 12:30 p.m.

A short time later, the credit card was used at Target, located at 98 Veterans Memorial Highway in Commack. Both businesses are in the same shopping center. The amount that was fraudulently charged was more than $650, police said.

The suspect is described as a black male with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded coat with a fur collar, dark sweatpants with a logo on left upper leg, white sneakers, a baseball cap and sunglasses.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
