The Town Board of Smithtown, will meet at Town Hall, 99 West Main Street, Smithtown, N.Y. on August 11th at 2:00 pm to consider proposed
, amendments to Chapter 177, entitled “Solid Waste Management,” as it relates to recyclables: Solid Waste Management declaring that" All recyclables, except cardboard and brown paper bags, shall be placed in a designated recycling container for collection. Recyclables, with the exception of plastic recyclables, shall not be placed in plastic bags for collection."
