• Coopers Plains I-86 East on-ramp to close for paving work (mytwintiers.com) — Drivers in Coopers Plains should plan for the I-86 eastbound on-ramp at Exit 42 to be closed Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for paving. Traffic will be detoured via Meads Creek Road and Victory Highway to the Painted Post entrance, and officials urge extra travel time and caution around the work zone.
