• Man arrested after assaulting officers in Cornwall (newportdispatch.com) — Police say two Town of Cornwall officers were injured Thursday night after responding to a complaint near Main Street and Willow Avenue, where a man allegedly threatened to shoot them and then resisted arrest. The suspect, a Cornwall resident, faces multiple assault and obstruction charges and was remanded to Orange County Jail, after assistance from several neighboring departments.
