• Two DWI's with Kids in the Car in Westchester (yonkerstimes.com) — State Police based in Cortlandt arrested a Peekskill man on felony DWI charges under Leandra’s Law after allegedly finding a 9-year-old in his car during a late-night stop, then processed him at the Cortlandt barracks. Another driver from the Bronx was separately charged on I-684 with DWI and having an 11-year-old passenger, with both children released safely.
   

• Killer of Pearl River teen headed back to prison after multiple parole violations (news12.com) — A man once convicted in a notorious Rockland County murder is heading back to prison after multiple parole violations, including a forcible touching incident at a park in Cortlandt. Officials say he also admitted to petit larceny in Peekskill, and he’ll now serve another 10 months even as some leaders argue he should never be released.
