16 studious AP Scholars recognized in Deer Park

Winners from Deer Park's Class of 2017 included eight AP Scholars with Distinction and eight AP Scholars with Honor.

From Syntax: Sixteen studious seniors at Deer Park High School were named AP Scholars with Distinction and AP Scholars with Honor for 2017 by the College Board’s Advanced Placement Program, which offers several levels of AP Scholar awards to honor high school students who demonstrate college-level achievement via AP courses and exams.

Winners from Deer Park’s Class of 2017 included eight AP Scholars with Distinction (Saraf Faruk, Navan Hassan, Fabiha Khan, Lauren Leon, Bianca Punger, Catherine Taipe, Danielle Tirado and Megan Zhang), and eight AP Scholars with Honor (William Buckley, Isabella Colacioppo, Tori DiTomaso, Wasif Islam, Vicken Khazar, Alan Korsiak, Jamie Oddo, Kailey Tenn).
