Altice Connects Hispanic Heritage Month Essay Contest Grand Prize Presentation at Robert Frost Middle School

Altice USA's Hispanic Heritage Month Essay Contest was launched this Fall across the company's Optimum and Suddenlink service areas

On December 12, representatives from Altice USA presented Jasleen Kaur, an eighth grade student at Robert Frost Middle School with a $1,500 scholarship for being a grand prize winner in the Altice Connects Hispanic Heritage Essay Contest.

This past fall, Altice Connects launched a student essay contest in recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month. Students in grades 6 – 12 who attended school in the communities that Altice USA serves with its Optimum and Suddenlink services, had the opportunity to submit an original essay in 500 words or less that answered the question; “Name a Latino, past or present, with whom you would choose to spend a day, and explain why?” A grand prize winner and 3 runners up have been selected in each of the 6-8th grade and 9-12th grade categories. Kaur’s essay was titled “A Day with Sergio Aguero.”
