Armed Man Robs North Babylon Store

Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a North Babylon store on Monday afternoon.

According to police, a man entered Avenue, located at 1214 Deer Park Avenue in the Sunset Plaza shopping center, at about 3:20 p.m. He displayed a gun and demanded cash from an employee.

The employee complied and the robber fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

No injuries were reported. No arrests have been made. Police did not release a description of the robber.
