Blast From The Past For DeLuca's 50th Anniversary
a ceremony featuring performances by fourth-grade chorus students was held to dedicate a time capsule to students 25 year from today.
From N. Babylon Schools: Students at William E. DeLuca Elementary School in the North Babylon School District went back to 1967 by participating in activities that were prominent at that time in honor of the school’s 50th anniversary.
In commemoration of the momentous occasion, students observed five decades of class photos and enjoyed activities including a spirograph station, hopscotch, research-related activities, Battleship and Mr. Potato Head. In addition, a ceremony featuring performances by fourth-grade chorus students was held to dedicate a time capsule — containing a school T-shirt, tablet, iPod, letters, a fidget spinner and yearbook — to students 25 years from today.
