Boy Scout Troop 399 at the Town of Babylon 9/11 Memorial Spring Cleanup

Boy Scout Troop 399 of North Babylon participated in the Town of Babylon 9/11 Memorial Site Spring Cleanup on April 22, 2017. The Town of Babylon’s 9/11 Memorial Site pays tribute to the men and women who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. It is located in between Cedar and Overlook beaches on Ocean Parkway.

Troop 399 has been a steadfast supporter of this memorial by contributing time towards its maintenance. The troop helped with the removal of debris from the site, weed cleanup, and beautification.

Boy Scout Troop 399 meetings are held each Thursday evening that schools are open at 7:30pm in the Marion G. Vedder Elementary School cafeteria. Troop 399 is a Boy Scout Troop based in North Babylon, NY and a member of the Sagtikos District of BSA’s Suffolk County Council. It is sponsored by the North Babylon Lions Club. Originally chartered in 1975, Troop 399 has been serving the community, turning boys into leaders and giving families the opportunity to participate in Scouting for 40 years.
