2 Arrested In Sayville Brothel Bust; Cash And Massage Tables Seized: Police
Two women were arrested after police say they were advertising services on commercial sex websites.
SAYVILLE, NY — Two Brooklyn women were arrested Wednesday after Suffolk County police executed a search warrant at a Sayville home that investigators said was being used as a brothel.
Members of the department’s Human Trafficking Investigation Unit, along with officers from the Fifth Precinct Crime Unit, Fifth Precinct Anti-Crime unit, and Fifth Precinct Community Support Unit, launched an investigation into reports of a brothel operating out of 47 Henry Street, according to Suffolk County police.
Police said investigators executed a search warrant at the home around 10:24 a.m. Wednesday, April 22.

A 55-year-old woman known as Mary and a 41-year-old woman known as Flame were each charged with prostitution, police said.
Police said the women advertised their services on commercial sex websites.

During the search, detectives seized massage tables, cash, and electronic devices, according to police.
The women were issued desk appearance tickets and will be arraigned at a later date, police said.
The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
