BSA Venturing Crew 399 Food Drive for St. Paul's Food Pantry

The scouts of Venturing Crew 399, North Babylon have been taking the Boy Scout motto "do a good turn daily" to heart. On November 21, 2021, they held a food drive outside Lidl supermarket for donation to St. Paul’s Food Pantry. The community was very generous, and they collected an incredible amount of food for the Pantry. Twelve cart loads of supplies were collected with approximately 3000 lbs. of food. The scouts look forward to holding more community service projects in the future.

Venturing Crew 399 is a Boy Scout Crew based in North Babylon, NY and a member of the Sagtikos District of BSA’s Suffolk County Council. Venturing Crew 399 is a BSA youth organization for boys, girls and young adults ages 14-20 and sponsored by the Lions Club of North Babylon. Venturing's purpose is to provide positive experiences to help young people mature and to prepare them to become responsible and caring adults.
