From Deer Park Schools: More than 100 students from Deer Park’s Robert Frost Middle School attended the annual Heritage and Culture Night on Nov. 3, organized by Frost’s world language teachers Keri Cook, Kimberly Lecamus, Jack Lovascio, Fran Pullman and Meredith Telese. During the celebration, students tasted a variety of multicultural food and danced to Spanish, Italian, French and Irish music, forming a massive conga line.
“It was a wonderful night and genuinely encouraged an appreciation and tolerance for the multitude of diverse cultures within Deer Park’s community,” said Ashley Rosenberg, district administrator of ENL and world languages.
