Congratulations to Kyle Wykert for Achieving Eagle Scout

Kyle Wykert Passes his Board of Review and Becomes Troop 399's 50th Eagle Scout!

Kyle Wykert of North Babylon’s Troop 399 passed his Board of Review to become the Troop’s 50th Eagle Scout!  A Board of Review is the final approval process for Eagle Scout.  Kyle achieved more than 21 merit badges required to receive the Eagle Scout award.

For his Eagle project he supervised the construction of benches, tables and flower boxes to go under gazebo in the courtyard of Belmont Elementary School located in North Babylon.  Faculty and students can enjoy a class in an outdoor setting.  The project was mainly successful because of teamwork.

Boy Scout Troop 399 meetings are held each Thursday evening that schools are open at 7:30 pm in the Marion G. Vedder Elementary School cafeteria.  For more information you may visit Troop 399’s website at http://northbabylon399.mytroop.us/.  Troop 399 is a Boy Scout Troop based in North Babylon, NY.  Troop 399 is a member of the Sagtikos District of BSA’s Suffolk County Council.  It is sponsored by the North Babylon Lions Club.  Originally chartered in 1975, Troop 399 has been serving the community, turning boys into leaders and giving families the opportunity to participate in Scouting for 40 years.
