Deer Park High School Names Top 10 Seniors

The students were honored with a breakfast ceremony, attended by their proud parents as well as school administrators.

From Deer Park School District: The top 10 ranked seniors from Deer Park High School’s class of 2019 were announced on Oct. 12. These remarkable students were honored with a breakfast ceremony held in the school’s library, attended by their proud parents as well as school administrators.

Ranked first as the upcoming valedictorian was Katherine Cho, while Eiman Nawaz was ranked second, earning salutatorian honors. Rounding out the top 10 academic finishers were Hallie Feldman (ranked third), Anna Ragone (fourth), Emma DeStefano (fifth), Julie DeBiase (sixth), Mohammed Raiyan (seventh), Matthew Berhalter (eighth), Yasmeen Syedda-Hensley (ninth) and Roha Arshad (10th).

“We are very proud of these 10 young men and women, who have displayed remarkable dedication to their studies,” said Principal Charles Cobb. “They will surely go on to accomplish great things.”
