After a successful audition, the 24-piece Deer Park High School Jazz Ensemble and director Jerry Cannarozzo were selected to perform a recent concert at the Waterside Stage in Downtown Disney in Orlando, Fla. The showcase was part of the band’s participation in the Disney Performing Arts OnStage program, which highlights student performers in front of guest audiences at Walt Disney World.
