Press release from Deer Park School District:

October 19, 2020

In an effort to promote social-emotional learning in the classroom, Deer Park High School teachers Jessica Canale and Jaime Pambianchi asked each student to think about a teacher who positively impacted their life. Students then wrote anonymous letters to teachers, thanking them for their efforts and all that they do. The letters were arranged into a rainbow and displayed in various rooms of the high school, including the front lobby. The display allowed teachers to read the encouraging notes, reminding them that their efforts do not go unnoticed.
