Deer Park Teen Charged After Assault at Miller’s Ale House

A 19-year-old Deer Park man was arrested on an assault charge following an fight at Miller’s Ale House in Deer Park Monday night, police said.

According to police, Jordan Malave struck another man with a closed fist while holding a glass cup at about 10:27 p.m.

The victim required medical treatment, police said.

Malave was arrested and charged with assault. He was arraigned on Tuesday and then released on $1,000 bail. He is due back in court on Oct. 12.
