Drunk N. Babylon Woman Crashes Car With Son Inside: Police
BREAKING: The car overturned after striking a parked vehicle Thursday night, police say. The woman's 2-year-old son was inside.

NORTH BABYLON, NY – A 27-year-old North Babylon woman was arrested on a felony DWI charge after she crashed her car with her 2-year-old son inside Thursday night, Suffolk Police said.
According to police, Desiree Dubois was driving a 1996 Nissan Maxima eastbound on Lombard Street at about 10:50 p.m. when she struck a parked vehicle in front of 514 Lombard Street, overturning the Maxima.
Dubois was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip for treatment of minor injuries. Her 2-year-old son was not injured and he was released to a family member, police said.

Dubois was charged with aggravated DWI with a child passenger 15 years old or younger (a felony under Leandra’s Law), DWI and endangering the welfare of a child. She is scheduled to be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Central Islip.
