Election Polls Open-Who has implemented Equality of Earnings?

It's 10 Days before the Presidential and Statewide Elections; and the Women's Movement is hotter than ever encouraging Federal and State Legislator Candidates to come forward and discuss how they have implemented rules of law or physical processes for Women to finally receive Equality of Earnings.

Maryann Maltese, a long time resident of Huntington Township-a Candidate announced for 12th NYS Assembly District-which takes in North Babylon, Deer Park, West Islip Township and Sections of Huntington Township-is a strong advocate encouraging Legislators or Candidates to discuss their Present and Future Legislative Platforms to "implement" process ensuring Equality of Earnings or for those of us entitled to Back-Wages; Retroactive Bill Languages to acknowledge wrong-doing and set forth corrective measures.

I'm asking Women of Long Island before you cast your Vote today as early voting is underway; to be selective in your candidate choices. I have been watching this 2020 Election Season and have not specifically heard or saw from any of my Candidates-what is their platform for Women and where they stand on Implementation Measures to ensure that Women receive Equality of Earnings or Legislative relief of a process to file employment claims when Earnings are not Equal.

Maryann Maltese, a former Regional Communications-Legislative Manager for 30 years with the NYS Legislature has broken her silence and shared her story of NYS (her former Employer) undermining Women staffers by paying us less than market rate salaries or even worse taking on Two or more Employment Roles-but the Earnings for each role were not provided. After 30 years of working within the Legislative Process for NYS-it is necessary for Women of multiple industries to come forward and speak up if they are not earning the same wages-and join me in pressing Legislators to discuss What their Implementation Plan is for Equality of Earnings.

In 1920-Women took to the streets-screaming for the right to vote because inequality existed in all facets of our daily lives-we won the battle. In 1930's, during the Great Depression and World Wars; women received publicity and media exposure for entering the Workforce at huge levels and "Braun" was our Plea-to pay us a fair wage for taking on Male Employment Roles at large. Did we win the battle then? Perhaps, Some women received $0.25 a pay week more.

It's 70 years later; Women are in the Workforce in multiple industry areas-individually making advancements, but as a group-we are scattered in our requests of Earnings. Some of us Work Part-Time and raise families, Others-Work the Same Level of Employment Performance and are earning still $0.69-$0.79 per hour-that is outrageous in today's times. In my opinion, Women can only truly have equality of they have equality of earnings-and to get there-State Legislatures need a Process of Implementation and Retroactive Language to correct injustice for Women who have claims.

Service Men and Service Women of the Armed Forces-receive retroactive bill language laws when it is determined that these workers-service men and women did not receive the Promise of such. It is the same process for NYS Public Service (Legislative Branch Staff). It's is ethical employment process to acknowledge injustice and to correct it.

It's 70 years later-A process within the NYS Legislature must be implemented for Women (the Maltese Equality of Earnings Law) to correct injustice and Set the standard of "the Process Women need going forward to file inequality of earnings claims". Today, before you cast your Vote Early in NYS for the President and/or State Representative Candidates as Women always are the driving force in Elections- and this year being the 100th Anniversary of our Historic Right to Vote-I ask you not to take it lightly as Holding Posters together on the Street is difficult due to COVID19 Social Distancing Measures (Have we noticed any unfair simulation to the 19th Amendment?)-but you absolutely can ask your Candidate, "Have you implemented a Process for Women to submit "claims for Equality of Earnings?". If Yes-Where is the Copy of the Process or Can you direct me where I can find a Claim Form to ask for review in my State.

As I'm not on the Statewide Ballot this year for the 12th NYS Assembly District-but I have set forth a Platform of my intent to implement new Rules of Law (Check me out on the Patch)-I implore Our Women-to be diligent-on our Mutual Protest-"We want the Process to be Implemented on Equality of Earnings-NOW". I already waited 100 years to have my right to Vote-thank you, but what Women need is $1.00 Pennys on every dollar we earn implemented NOW-a Law to turn too and for those Ladies-Like Maryann Maltese who worked in the NYS Legislature and has a Claim of Inequality of Earnings-these Political Scientists-or Public Service Women in Policy need a Process-to file our Claim for retroactive earnings due? That was to be done in 2014 Ladies at Large for Women. Do you agree with me?

The plight for the Women's Movement is to Nail Down this year-"Equality of Earnings and The Process for those Women to File Claims within Industries-Like the Public Sector to acknowledge the injustice (finally) and implementation of Earnings due to performance.

In my opinion and I would love to hear yours-Women will be equal and treated as such-when We have Equality of Earnings Implemented. Let's take our Slogans-Our Position over the years-we all have our own and push it the next 10 days-pressing Our Leaders for "Implementation Measures" Now. Not another 100 years later-do you want to wait that long for Equality of Earnings? Have Men waited 200 years for this right or for earnings to be corrected where work performances rendered? NO-they haven't. That's why this is important to do over the next 10 days-and it's important for Women within their respective Fields to express themselves how they feel on the Matter.
