Fans Start Fight During Wyandanch Basketball Game: SCPD
Suffolk Police had to respond after the fight broke out among the fans during the third quarter of the game. The game was postponed.

WYANDANCH, NY - Suffolk Police responded to Wyandanch High School Monday evening after a fight broke out among the fans during a basketball game. According to police, Amityville High School students were playing basketball against Wyandanch students when a physical altercation broke out between adult fans of Wyandanch High School during the third quarter.
Security asked the officers to escort the men out of the building, then police escorted all the fans in attendance. One group did not want to leave so the referees postponed the game with Amityville leading 40-35. There were no arrests or injuries. No players from either team were involved.
This isn't the first time a fight broke out at the school during a basketball game. Last January, 15 people were involved in a brawl after a basketball game that resulted in a 14-year-old girl being hospitalized. A teen was arrested after that fight and charged with unlawful assembly and resisting arrest after he struck one of the officers.
