Fitness and Fun at SSCM

Fun and fitness were the primary directives at Deer Park's Saints Cyril and Methodius School at their Annual Field Day this month.

Students from nursery school through eighth grade were sweating it up as they tested their skills in traditional sports like basketball, soccer, and volleyball. Meanwhile, the real laughs and excitement came during the more unique activities, such as the wet sponge relay and the wacky obstacle course games!

Perhaps more importantly, teachers at every level celebrated Team Spirit for their own teams AND good sportsmanship as the central focus of the day. Whether it was Team Blue or Team White that rose to victory, there was celebration all around as the students cheered their classmates and ended the day with some cold ice cream treats.

Heartfelt thanks to all of the parents, teachers and staff who worked so hard to make this a marvelously memorable day for every student!
