Glen Eschbach Begins Job as New North Babylon Superintendent

At its July reorganization meeting, North Babylon School District’s new Superintendent of Schools Glen Eschbach was sworn in, and the Board of Education reappointed Janet Meyerson and Sal Levanti to their posts as president and vice president, respectively.

In addition, Matthew Lucchetti was introduced as a new trustee on the Board. Eschbach, Meyerson, Levanti and Lucchetti all took their oaths of office before a district attorney. The meeting, a precursor to the 2015-16 school year, served to welcome Eschbach as leader of its schools and gave the Board an opportunity to thank the community for its support as it reorganized.
