Good Samaritan Robbed in Deer Park After Stopping For Vehicle With Hazards On

When a man driving in Deer Park late Friday night spotted a woman standing next to a vehicle with its hazard lights on, the man stopped to lend a hand.

But instead, the man was robbed at gunpoint in an apparent set-up.

The incident occurred on Tiber Avenue around 11:20 p.m.

According to police, when the good Samaritan stopped his vehicle, a man approached him, displayed a gun and demanded money.

The man gave the gunman cash and the robber fled in an older model sedan with the woman, police said.

No arrests have been made.
