Incarcerated Deer Park Man Charged With Robbery: Police

The man was one of two charged with the January robbery.

A Deer Park man was charged on Wednesday in connection to a Massapequa bank robbery that occurred back in January, according to Nassau Police.

On Jan. 15, it was reported that a man and a woman entered the Bethpage Federal Credit Union on 6257 Sunrise Highway and robbed the bank before fleeing towards Willow Street, police said.

In October, 21-year-old Shabril Maxwell, of Copiague was charged with second degree robbery, third degree robbery and fourth degree grand larceny, police said.

Robert DiGrazia, 25, was charged second degree robbery, third degree robbery, fourth degree grand larceny and fourth degree criminal facilitation on Wednesday after it was discovered that he drove the Maxwell to and from the bank, police said.

Both were already incarcerated at the Nassau County Correctional Facility for unrelated charges at the time of their arrests.

The duo were arrested in January for robbery after a string of bank and gas station robberies in Suffolk County along with two other people.
